Techers/ Institutes should contact the Examinations Department (T. P. 0772046558/ email : exams@imsss.org) to obtain a Registration Form. Once registered a teacher may obtain the syllabus and support material from the IMSSS.
Examinations are held in centres throughout the year from January to December.
The teacher or Educational Institute requesting for exams must do so, two months prior to the date required.
E.g. if examinations are required in March, the request for exams along with the Entries must be submitted to the office in January of the same year.
Candidates are required to bring a file or print out with the Poem or Prose or Drama that each candidate will be performing. Candidates must be present at the Examination Centre on the date notified to each of them, half an hour prior to their scheduled time with the official notification.
All candidates sitting for the examinations will receive a Certificate and Report Sheet after assessment.
The candidates who perform exceptionally well in each centre will be awarded Prizes at the Annual Islandwide Prize Giving of the IMSSS (Pvt) Ltd.
Entries should be written on the official Entry Form. All entries in the form should be written/ typed clearly in BLOCK CAPITALS with the correct spelling of the names of the candidates
Full Entry Fees should be paid to the Bank and the Bank Slip should carry details of Teacher/ Centre & Subject.
NO ENTRY FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL BANK SLIPS. MONEY ORDER/POSTAL ORDER/ CASH CHEQUES OR CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
THE BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER ON THE BANK SLIP MUST BE CLEARLY WRITTEN.
Separate entry forms should be filled in respect of each category. A copy of your entry form must be keptyou before handing the entries over to the office.
The Teacher MUST BE CONTACTABLE AT ALL TIMES. Please make sure that relevant telephone numbers – residence, office, mobile, relative’s or friend’s should be given.
No changes will be accepted on the phone. Only written or fax/e-mail instructions addressed to the Managing Director will be attended to.
Changes of grade/ Subject will not be accepted at the centre. The Examination entered for in the Entry form is the only valid examination.
Refunds:
Entry Fees will not be refunded, nor will it be held for the following year/session.
Substitution: For any reason is not allowed. The new candidate must enter as a new entry with FULL PAYMENT. Certificates will be printed according to spellings written on the Entry Form.
